
111 residential plots allocated to encroachers
Chandrapur Reporter Prabodhini News – While citizens expect land titles to be distributed in many villages of Maharashtra, Ballarpur has achieved the fastest pace of land distribution, which is a proud moment, said former State Minister for Forests, Cultural Affairs and Fisheries and MLA Mr. Sudhir Mungantiwar. This initiative is being implemented successfully through the coordination of activists, office bearers and officials, and he expressed his resolve to bring Ballarpur to the first position in Maharashtra in terms of land title distribution.
A program to distribute land titles to encroachers was organized at the Government Rest House, Ballarpur. He was speaking at the time. Former Forest Development Corporation Chairman Chandan Singh Chandel, BJP District President Harish Sharma, and Municipal Council Chief Officer Vishal Wagh were present on this occasion.

MLA Mr. Sudhir Mungantiwar said, ‘The work of giving leases will be further accelerated in Ballarpur. Citizens want to get leases in many villages of Maharashtra. Today, 111 residents are being given leases, while 251 leases have been distributed earlier. A total of 362 applications have been settled and action is underway on 894 applications. The intention is to give 4 thousand 500 leases in a year. There is no rest until the land lease reaches every last eligible person.
The housing scheme cannot move forward without land. Therefore, tireless efforts will continue to ensure that every poor family gets the right to their own land, said A.Mungantiwar on this occasion.
